Clearigate® Algaecide and Herbicide is a premium solution chelated copper formulation with an emulsified surfactant/penetrant. It is designed to break down thick cell walls and improve control of difficult algae and aquatic vegetation that are sensitive to copper absorption with a penetrant.
Clearigate® is great for coarse filamentous algae, mucilaginous colonial planktonic algae, Chara, cyanobacteria, and a range of emergent, floating, and submersed aquatic plants including Cladophora, Pithophora, Lyngbya, Microcystis, Hydrilla, pondweeds, water milfoil, and naiad.
Clearigate® can be used in crop and non-crop irrigation conveyance systems, potable water reservoirs, lakes, and farm, fire, fish, golf course, industrial, irrigation, stormwater detention, and wastewater ponds. It may be diluted and sprayed in static water or applied to flowing water through a drip system, with proper chemical concentration contact maintained for a minimum of three hours.
