EutroSORB® WC
EutroSORB WC is a liquid water-column phosphorus inactivator that binds free reactive phosphorus and helps reduce the nutrient pressure behind recurring algae and water quality problems.
Overview
Inactivate water-column phosphorus before it feeds algae.
EutroSORB WC is a proprietary blend of phosphate-binding materials designed to inactivate water-column phosphorus. It targets free reactive phosphorus in the water column and binds it so it is no longer available to fuel nuisance algae growth and declining water quality.
The liquid formulation is simple to implement because it does not require slurry mixing before application. EutroSORB WC can be sprayed on the surface, injected below the surface, or poured into areas with good mixing, giving managers flexibility across lakes, ponds, reservoirs, rivers, streams, canals, and similar surface waters.
When algae are already present, a SePRO algaecide application 3 to 5 days before the initial EutroSORB WC treatment may support stronger program results. SePRO Technical Specialists can help tailor prescriptions based on phosphorus levels, site conditions, timing, and management goals.

Product Comparison
EutroSORB WC is the liquid water-column phosphorus inactivator in the EutroSORB family. It is designed for water-column reset, maintenance programs, and situations where soluble phosphorus is already available in the water. EutroSORB G and EutroSORB SI focus on sediment-driven phosphorus pressure, while EutroSORB F intercepts soluble reactive phosphorus in moving water before it enters or moves through a system.

Tank Mix Compatibility
Tank mix compatibility should be confirmed before application. The pH of another product can negatively affect EutroSORB WC when mixed, and source water used for dilution can also influence compatibility. A jar test is recommended before application. Spray equipment and tanks should be rinsed well before use because residues from noncompatible products can affect the mixture.
