Harpoon® Granular Aquatic Herbicide is a chelated copper granule designed to sink down and control copper-sensitive aquatic plants. This product is for nuisance weeds such as water hyacinth while supporting treatment programs where water use cannot be restricted.
Harpoon® Granular is labeled for slow-moving or quiescent bodies of water, including golf course, ornamental, fish and fire ponds, fresh water lakes, fish hatcheries, and potable water reservoirs. It may be applied evenly over target vegetation using a spreader, blower, hand scoop, or other equipment suited to the treatment area.
The granular formulation is especially useful for bottom-growing copper-sensitive species. Supported targets include Hydrilla, Egeria (Brazilian elodea), naiads, elodea, coontail, water lettuce, water hyacinth, giant salvinia, common salvinia, Myriophyllum spp., and members of the Potamogetonaceae family.
