Natrix®
Natrix is an EPA-registered molluscicide technology for targeted control of invasive and exotic aquatic mussels, snails, and clams.
Product Overview
Target tough-to-reach mollusks with a concentrated copper molluscicide.
Natrix provides control of invasive and exotic aquatic mussel, snail, and clam species, including zebra mussels, quagga mussels, Asian clams, New Zealand mud snails, and island apple snails. It may also be used to control nuisance mollusks such as snails that are vectors for parasites.
Built for targeted treatment planning, Natrix is 80% more concentrated than other liquid copper molluscicides on the market. This supports more efficient treatments that can reduce time, cost, and labor while providing strong performance across a range of water conditions.
The formulation uses multiple chelating agents for increased water-column stability, is less interactive with organic matter in sediments, and is effective in many water types including elevated pH, alkalinity, and hardness. Its high product density helps target tough-to-reach mollusks.
