Oasis®
An innovative mode of action for control of hydrilla
Product Overview
An innovative mode of action for hydrilla control.
Oasis Herbicide brings an innovative mode of action to aquatic vegetation management. Its active ingredient, topramezone, works through HPPD inhibition, which causes loss of chlorophyll, or bleaching, in new growth of sensitive aquatic plants such as hydrilla.
Oasis provides targeted hydrilla control with selectivity to many desirable species, making it a strong fit as part of an herbicide rotation program for hydrilla management. In addition, Oasis has shown good control of other troublesome invasive species such as water hyacinth.
Oasis may be applied in-water to ponds, lakes, and reservoirs for hydrilla control; as a foliar application to floating and emergent plants; or as a pre-emergent application to dewatered sediments of seasonally flooded sites, including ditches and canals, for post-refill nuisance vegetation control.
- Full root control of target plants while leaving desirable native plants
- Targeted control of hydrilla with selectivity to many desirable species
- Useful in herbicide rotation programs
- Flexible application options
