Sonar® SRP

Slow-release pellets that prevent dilution in fast-moving water.

Product Overview

Extended contact for Sonar performance in moving water.

Sonar® SRP stands for slow-release pellets. The formulation provides unique slow dissipation to offer an extended period of contact with target plants.

SePRO positions Sonar® SRP as the ideal formulation to help prevent dilution in rapid water movement while maintaining the level of efficacy expected from the Sonar® product line. It gives applicators another option when water movement, exposure time, and target-plant contact are important treatment-program considerations.

Like other Sonar® fluridone formulations, Sonar® SRP is used for nuisance aquatic vegetation management. The product label should be used to confirm vascular aquatic plants controlled, partially controlled, and not controlled; algae such as Chara, nitella, and filamentous species are not controlled by Sonar®.

  • Systemic or full control of target plants
  • Slow-release pellets extend contact time with target plants
  • Maintains concentration after initial application
  • Supports sites with dilution or flow
