The product is EPA registered for the control and prevention of algae and cyanobacteria and is NSF certified to ANSI Standard 60 for use in drinking water. It can be applied to open waters or directly to pipelines, giving utilities and applicators flexible ways to protect raw water quality before problems move downstream.
Earthtec® is often used as a more efficient alternative to traditional copper sulfate crystals. The liquid formulation disperses quickly, stays in solution, and helps reduce wasted copper, labor, and repeat application demands when the treatment plan is matched to the site reducing in-plant costs..
