Earthtec® QZ
Earthtec® QZ is an EPA-registered molluscicide for controlling invasive zebra, quagga, and golden mussels in critical water systems, including potable water supplies.
Product Overview
Mussel control for water systems that need to keep moving.
Earthtec® QZ is designed for water managers who need to protect intakes, pipelines, canals, irrigation systems, reservoirs, and other critical infrastructure from invasive mussel pressure.
The product provides control of invasive aquatic mollusks, including zebra mussels, quagga mussels, and golden mussels. It is EPA registered and NSF/ANSI Standard 60 certified for potable water supplies, giving utilities and water-resource managers a practical option for drinking-water and conveyance-system protection.
Earthtec® QZ disperses quickly through treated water and can be applied through common water-system approaches such as metering into an intake or treating a targeted waterbody area. Treatment plans should be matched to the site, target organism, water movement, and operating goal with support from a SePRO Water Technical Specialist.
